Interesting post... on the train journey into work this morning I was dreaming about my (yet to be realised) Warmoth Tele... It will have an alder body, I think, and a maple neck.
I was thinking about either Blackguards, Piledrivers, or The Boss... The posts here have dissuaded me from Piledrivers, I think... I thought that they might be a little too hot. I think that "Vintage +" is what I'm looking for, the classic jingle jangle, but capable of punching you in the chest if needs be, just like the original poster.
Also, wasn't the solo on Stairway To Heaven played on a Tele? Or did I completely make that up..?
