Time for some advices. Bkps Swaps - MM X PK X..?!?

im having some problems tryign to find my sound, strictly with the PK AND MM

Charvel - (basswood or poplar)  is AWESOME with the new floyd rose bridge and NAILBOMB in the bridge.
i wont change it at all

Esp - Doest work well with either MM, PK OR WP.
Its made oF ash

Schecter A1 - Mahogany (at least its what i think it is, heavier than the other avenger, thats made of basswood with walnut top and back)

i tried the PK and now its the MM there. but i didnt like it.
not enough output, not enough bite, not enough tone
PK has more bite and output than the mm. mm sound just the way i thought it would sound. not my cup of tea.

Schecter Avenger (basswood). its still with the Emgs. i wont swap them for bkps right now.
WP is still out of the guitars


what would be your advice ? i would like to have a variation of the Nailbomb to use with those 2 guitars, esp and A1

would i have to trade it for another bkp?
if so, any other advice would be welcome
Crawler? Ceramic Warpig? Holy Diver? Cold Sweat?!?!?

all that i want is : the tightness and meaty tone of the nailbomb's bass , same output, crunchy middles, and open airy Highs.

Well logically, if you've got "your sound" with your Nailbomb, why did you get all those other pickups in the first place? Have you tried all pickups in all those guitars? If so I'm quite surprised you didn't like the MM or PK in any of them.

Well, thinking logically, if you don't like the ESP with either MM, WP or PK & you only have one NB, then you're f_ked :)

IMO a Holy Diver for the ESP might be the answer.  It has a little bit more output than the NB, but fuller/fatter mids & a little less top-end.

The only other thing you haven't tried with your existing pickups is the WP in the A1 (which ought to at least give you the output that it lacks with the MM or PK - though this begs the question why you like the NB in anything as both MM & PK have significantly more output than the NB...)

Something else I forgot to put in my last post:
If you love the NB in the Charvel, then I'd be surprised if you didn't like it in the ESP - ash or no ash - so why not just get another NB?

yah, thats weird.
it sounded a little bit strange(nailbomb) in the esp. not sure.
that is an excellent and professional guitar, but the neck is too rounded for my tastes. i dont like thin neck but im highly considerign trade or sell that esp and get a fender strat(my favorite guitar)

i didnt test the mm in all guitars but , i have tested it in the charvel and schecter and esp.
i just didnt install the emgs on the other schecter, so noone of the bkps were tested on that guitar
i tested the mm, pk and wp on the charvel. and the perfect match is the nailbomb.
mm sounded too thin in the middles and highs department.
PK sounded o and loud, but i didnt like it . something in it, maybe not as articulated as the NB.
Warpig sounded cool, but i still preffer the NB.

onm the esp Pk is getting better than the other ones. Warpig was a good choice too, but none of them matched the guitar the way i wanted it to be.

Well, its kinda magic. when i first installed the nb on the charvel, it pumped/pimped it out.
its the perfect match, as well as the Seymour Duncan Custom Custom AS(And Still IS)
i think that is a guitar that LACKS Middles. q:p

the sound of the charvel with the nailbomb IS : Wet, Full, Tight, Articulated, Crunchy, Airy and open.

that that i finished my exams, ill be able to mess again with guitars. im on vacation.
we have a gig with krisiun, in a city 10 hours away from ours. so, ill mess with the UNHOLY Pickups AT ALL.
i think ill try to Trade the painkiller or either the miracle man with one of you for a (UN)HOLY Diver q:p If all my test with the current pickups FAIL.

too much output, its kinda a WALL Of SOund. ahahahah the tightness of the WP comes more from the wall /mass of sound than its being real tight on the bass. Q:P
i liked its devastating output attack, but it depend on the amp. its not all the amps that can handle that much of output. Q:p

ill test it again.

ESP + NB, lacked SUSTAIN(but i think its somethign related to the guitar tself), besides of that, was pretty Good too. (keeping in mind the tonal and voicing differences between both pups, of course)

My goal , IN LIFE, is to have a gibson les paul custom(or a copy iwth equal or "almost there" quality ), in black or white.
A gibson flying V(IDEM)
and a fender stratocaster, together with my BELOVED Charvel fusion DELUXE.

That is surprising. The PK is known to be the tightest in the BKP range. Maybe a height adjustment is all you need.

I recently bought another Ibanez RG with a bolt on neck, solid mahogany body and a fixed bridge with through body stringing and fitted it with a calibrated set of PainKillers which I initially set up with the same pup to string clearance as the Nailbombs on my through neck, floyd and locking nut Ibanez RGT.
Result ?....It sounded awful  :x    Way too much treble cut and a really boomy bottom end with more pick on string noise than actual note volume.
So I lowered the pickups by 1.5 mm each side and EUREKA !!! what an amazing difference. The PK's now sound fantastic. Unbelievable given the small height difference. Totally different animals compared to the Nailbombs but equally as impressive.
I've only had them for a week so I'm still exploring their potential and loving every second.
I also made adjustment to the screwpole heights so that string to string volumes are equalled across the fretboard .
My advice on your ESP would be to play around with pickup and screwpole heights till you find the sweet spots on that guitar.

i agree that a holy diver in the esp might be the answer. i dont play your sort of intense metal, so its hard for me to assess the bass tightness. the highs are rolled off compared to a painkiller though, and the pickup has a nice compression so good sustain.

regarding what you say about amps not being able to handle certain high output pups: a high quality v1 valve is essential. JJs in  my marshall couldnt really handle the miracle man - a mullard in that position laps up all the output it can get - also tighter bass... think about it.
