Does anyone know anything about these? Turns out i can't get the Evidence Audio cables and these seem the only high end option...

Anyone heard/heard of these?

Thanks

You didn't need to make a new post just to ask about this- the leads thread (which you started) is sufficient. Not meaning to be nasty or a dick- it's just this place is neat and tidy as it is, some forums i read have numerous threads for the same thing, it's madness. madness? this, is, SPARTA! i love that movie.

My answer is still that you should try the Cleartone cables first. You wouldn't spend very much and you would, I'm certain, be very pleasantly surprised.

Also, if you were to get a more expensive cable, you could report back here to confirm that there's no difference between the ClearTone and the ridiculously expensive cable (or potentially otherwise), which would be of a lot of interest to pretty much everyone here :)

I've never played through one myself but remember seeing a review a while back in either guitarist or guitar buyer.  My (unreliable) memory tells me that it was a good review on the whole sound wise.  It said that the clarity was excellent, but it was a bit too expensive.  Sorry but I haven't got the mag any more.  Maybe someone else will be able to chip in.

I tried one and then returned it, it was great on the clean sounds very clear very bright, but on crunch and high gain it was so clear that my tone got really thin and way to bright even after eqing. Great for clean players is my opinion.

Mmm yeah that is concerning... Well i play a Les Paul if that helps? And use a Maxon OD808 which is a dark sounding pedal is that is any consolation? I'll ask the guy as the shop and see what he says... Problem is i can't return is as i'm leaving the country for a couple of months and won't be able to play the guitar between now and when i leave...
