So here is my 2x New Guitar Day, an Edwards and a Danelectro. One's gotta love asia :O)

PLUS a question: which knobs on the Edwards, Black (see neck controls) or Gold Knobs (see bridge controls)?

sorry hunter - those black knobs look cheap and horrible on that les paul. from those two choices it has to be the gold surely?!?!

dan electro is cool :) i hope you'll enjoy playing kashmir on it!

Gold, no question about it. I like both of those. The Dan is like a Tele that has given up trying to be cool and embraced it's ugliness, so it's cool.

The Danelectro sounds big, not to believe but she does. Really nice to kick in some overdrive and get crazy on it. Lipsticks seem to be cool pickups!

The Edwards is my first LPCustom, so I gotta get used to the Ebony board (love it actually) and the weight, also the bling is new to me ... I like the tone. It's massive, dark with a very different bite compared to the JP Relic. Not sure about that in-between setting. I guess the elctronics will need an overhaul. Other than that, I'm happy with both of them.

But like PhillyQ, I will have to do a cleanout soon. I can hardly walk anymore in my "guitar room".

The Custom has gotten Gold speed knobs all the way now, looks real nice!

i'm not quite sure about the knobs... i think gold, but i'm not certain.

I need to get to try one of those danos, i haven't found anywhere here which stocks them (i haven't been looking too hard, though), as i'd like to try them. for the price, even if they're decent, it'd be worth a punt (assuming they have a unique tone). :)

EDIT: happy NGD, edwarses are great! :)

I'm with Kellar on this one.  :D  

But... it has to be speed knobs on a Custom, not bell ones (I'm not sure why, but it's true...  :? ).  So in that case the gold speed knobs are preferable to the black bell knobs.
