Bon Jovi, 27th June at Twickenham

So, did anyone else here go?

I was earning SERIOUS brownie points by taking the Mrs along.
My main reason for posting was to find out who the second support band were. They were obviously well-practiced, but the guitarist kept on swapping between a tobacco burst strat and a red strat effort. God knows why he did this, as they seemed to be tuned the same, and they both sounded ABSOLUTELY GOD AWFUL! Jesus! Someone really needs to take that guy's amp and superglue the treble and presence controls much, much lower. Maybe I'm becoming a tone snob, but there's no fun in listening to something that sounds thin and weedy, but ear-piercingly shrill at the same time. Another complaint after the diabolical guitar tone would be complete lack of stage presence from the "front man"...

Otherwise, a reasonable gig. What you'd expect, of course, that lot aplenty, but at least the Mrs enjoyed it!!!!

Any Bon Jovi gig is going to be a good gig. As to the support band it was suppose to be the feeling but they were booked elsewhere so I believe (& I maybe wrong here) it's Biffy Clyro
