I cant believe Wacken have taken the step of putting no other bands on whilst Maiden play. Do they really think everyone likes them? I'd rather pneumatic drill my ears.

Maiden's "current" stage show is MIND BLOWING! I saw the entire spectacle from the 2nd row just a couple of weeks ago (Janick side).

I've not seen them for a couple of years, but they were great last time I caught them. Shame they don't gig as much in the UK as they once did.
Does Janick still whirl his guitar round is head and throw it 10ft in the air at the end of songs?

he whirled it around, put it on the ground and stepped on the trem. i don't believe he threw it, but i may have missed it

Maiden were awesome, nothing like 60,000 people singing run to the hills!

Glad they played wasted years, thats one of my fav's - don't think i'll be in the mosh pit again though, you always get some tw@t who thinks its funny to throw a full pint of cider in the air which ends up ruining your brand new maiden t-shirt!
