I get drawn into this thread by the title then assaulted by bird-shot-out-of-the-air inlays and garish spikey monstrosities. Oh, the humanity!

Sorry for the hijack folks

Marc:

24 guitars currently owned
2 up for commission sales in Sounds Great (Tokai SG, Signature LP)
3 more will be up for sale shortly (Gibson LP, Jackson Dinky, Fender Strat)
1 arriving tomorrow
2 Ibanez on order

So that's 22 when it all irons out.  9 superstrats - 8 Ibanez and a Kramer.  I only need the Kramer, but I collect the Ibanez's.

It's a secret   I'll spill the beans after it's arrived, it's nearly gone walkies once so I'm not tempting fate.

Twinfan,  just out of interest, how much is the Tokai SG up for in Sounds Great and what pickups are in it?
Might have a look at the weekend if it's still there.....

It's up for £449, and it has non-BKP 'boutique' P90 pickups in it.  Alnico IV magnets, cool wind.  Sounds lovely, quite humbucker-like.

I have such gas for the new Johnny Hiland PRS, but there's no chance I'll ever be able to afford it.

NO NO NO NO NO
Gibson thread, GIBSON THREAD
:P I shall let you continue if you all put in £50 towards the Rossington LP money fund.

I think this looks quite good too, but not in the same league quite
Angelguitars
Also has the mix of flame and plain, that seems more historically correct than the heavy chevron fashion ugh.
The refinish imperfection near the bookmatch line just adds to the cool factor

Yeah, that's nice.  Very vintage-y.

I hate chevrons too.
