 Have I asked a popular question?

Not really, it's just that I asked the same thing in another thread a few weeks ago and Will PM'd me that link about the vintage Les Paul restoration.  :)

Very nice, but I saw number 13 for sale not long ago for £4500.  I think his price is a bit optimistic!

I'd rather have this for £1999, which also has a braz board if you're after that kind of thing

I'm pretty sure its a modern eagle copy; I'm getting a custom one with that shape, so Twinfan, you have good taste!

Noodle, I thought you would say that the Eclipse is the LP imrpovement.
I disagree about the PRS being an improved LP, the control layout is not right IMO, nor prettier / sleeker / ergonomic.
Feline's standard Lion thing seems best, with the carved heel, (usually) traditional headstock, and about the perfect LP weight.

The eclipse deffo is as well. More so than the singlecut infact. The eclipse is in my eyes the ultimate single cutaway guitar. I've got my viper and Horizon, now I need a vintage black eclipse... One day =(
My last FM.
ESP Horizon NTII.
ESP Viper Camo.
ENGL Screamer.

Cheers!

That guitar is a PRS McCarty Brazilian Limited.  Not quite a Modern Eagle copy
