Accurate Pedal Tuners

Im just looking for some advice on which tuner to get. I want something that is very accurate (ive basically become my bands Tech and re-stringing and doing some setup work for a local shop. And I'm in the market for a very accurate tuner for use not only during setup (inotation etc) but also Live as a stompbox. So far Ive come up with the two above but other options are welcome.

So far I like the look of the look of the Pitchblack plus, but is the extra £50 of the strobostomp worth the money? so far the only real differences is that the strobo stomp has those 'sweetened' tunings and a buzz felten mode (none of the guitars I own or work on have this).

Any thoughts would be most welcome.

i just love peterson product. I've never believed in the hype of this thing but once i've started using it, i couldn;t go back to any other tuners. i just feel very secured with strobostomp and isn't it what it's all about?  :)

i havnt tried the pitchblack but i have been nothing but impressed with my peterson stroboflip... the stomp is essentially the same tuner in a pedal - no less accurate anyway.

sounds like its goin to be the strobo stomp unless anyone else has any other choices...

I haven't used the pitchblack plus, but I have the pitchblack, and it's an excellent tuner. Very accurate, easy to use, and super-convenient (it mutes output when it's in use, and is TB when it isn't). The only problem I've had is a problem I've had with any electronic tuner, which is the tuner getting confused by an abundance of overtones. That's easy to get around though :)

I have a peterson and I can only say good things about it.

Now I get stuck tuning everyone else's guitars though, even the sodding bass

The Planet Waves CT 04 chromatic pedal tuner is worth a look. Nice big, clear readout for dark stages, and it's hard bypass. Costs a bit less than the Peterson too. I got the Korg DT-10 which is pretty accurate - i chose it over the peterson because the peterson took so long to use that it would probably (i may be wrong!) be impractical in live situations... Th Korg i was told is one of the fastest to use out there

Peterson Strobostomp is amazing. When you think you're tuned with a "normal" chromatic such as Boss TU-2 etc, plug into a strobostomp and you'll find you aren't. Buy once, will last a lifetime.
