Hmmm this is hard, as everyone mentioned it changes from week to week But the main ones are:

Richie Sambora - had a profound effect on me as kid learning to play guitar
Audley Freed - for those that don't know he use to play in Cry Of Love & The Black Crowes. the guy is amazing if you ever get a chance to see him perform...do it, just don't spill beer on his jeans
Rory Gallagher - touch, taste (pun intended) & songs, the man is a legend
Matt Schofield - kind of a weird choice, but the dude has opened my eyes to how to play guitar is certain ways
Jimmy Page - how this one guy be so sloppy yet be so influential....anyone? It's because he's got talent to burn.

See you next week for pt 2

Only 5??

Peter Green
BB king, Freddie King and Alber king all rolled into one so it only counts as one choice
JJ cale
George Harrison
Roy Buchanan

Or course next weeks choices could be the usual suspects Koss, Hendrix, SRV, Gilmour and Page.

What a great thread - didn't realise what I'd started.

Some great great names in there eh? Just shows how versatile an instrument our 6 stringed wonder can be.

Maybe there's another list along the lines of "5 most over-rated guitarists ever" Now that WOULD be fun  :D
