Personally i think they are fugly :lol:

That was exactly my first reaction :lol:
But then as more and more got posted, they started to grow on me, and I realised it was because they are slightly, well, "ugly"

That's the point. If you want a "beautiful" guitar buy a quilt-top high gloss PRS and look like a massive knob :P

i've found off-the-shelf guitars which I like a lot, but none which are perfect yet (that being said, though, I don't think 100% perfection is attainable). They're perfectly acceptable though as long as I'm allowed to have more than one guitar. :twisted:

Thanks for the link! I've seen adverts for these before in magazines, and found them very interesting. I always keep an eye out for one to try out when I'm at a guitar shop or Denmark st. but haven't seen one yet.
I also find the body looks a bit small and slightly anaemic, but I expect that makes it very comfortable to play.

EDIT: Also weird how the web page claims the frets are made of "hand cut genuine bone", :lol:

I'd rather have a nice PRS than a beat up freak guitar like those ones. But then again i'd rather have a normal guitar like an Ibanez RG/Les Paul than a PRS.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen my ultimate guitar as such, but this is my favourite from the Fano site - and there's very little I'd want to change about it. :)

Wow that looks great ilyti, love the grain. I have no idea what custom I'd want but I did design a body shape AGES ago, it was quite similar to a prs but a bit curvier and pointier on the horns.

edit - heres the body shape, tho I dont know if I'd want a pickguard. I was going to make it myself but I never got round to it and realised I'd probably not be very good at it anyway.
