Don't do it!!!! (HSS)
Not unless you're
really sure, especially if it's your main guitar.
Years ago I put a hot rails in a bridge position, only stayed in there a year or so. Same happened putting a neck humbucker in a tele - never gigged it again.
What I ended up with was guitars that couldn't do what they used to do, and although the new tones were very nice, they were "novelty" tones for me...
I've no problem with others using HSS - obviously it does a good job for them - it just wasn't for me... so - make sure you're sure :D
Otherwise, from other's posts in various threads recently, I reckon yeah, slowhands wouldn't be a bad choice, though I have no personal experience.
From my own experience, I don't think ITs is exactly what you want though.
You probably have already, but take a look at Tomcaster's Apache review:
http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=13586.0I'm not suggesting Apache's, but it does illustrate really well how talking to BKP helped him choose a customised set that gives him just what he wants.
