Once upon a a time I was in a Rock/Metal Band
« on: July 23, 2008, 02:03:14 PM »
16 years ago I was signed to a record label did and album Label went bust bang went all my dreams of being a big star (We've all been there) Anyway We recorded an album just before it all went tits up.
I've recently managed to get back in touch with our singer and it turns out he made a copy of the DAT of some of the final Mixes for the Album we recorded.

We listened to them yesterday expecting the worst and for everything to be just awful but bugger me if we weren't taken aback by it.

Muscial style is Cult Sonic Temple Era and The Almighty, Motorhead etc.

Have a laugh at my expense here Shame my fave song still has the bad takes for some of the solo's in it. (Corroded)

sorry there's no bareknuckle content in here it was long before I discovered them.

Great musics, but I didn't like the vocals so much...
Nice guitar work!

I like it a lot. To the point I wish to dig out my original band.

yeah, I can hear The Almighty influence all over that and some Hetfield on the vocals too.  I take it you lads used to virtually live in Trillians??? (who didn't back then, ha ha)

Excellent guitar work there. I particularly liked 'Whiskey city'.

Thanks,
I hadn't played for over 10 years till a few months back, I'm hoping to improve on what I could do back then eventually. It feels like it's taking an age to come back Practice, Practice, Practice....  :? :? :? :?
