« on: July 27, 2008, 10:36:45 PM »
Hey guys,

Decided today to get off my arse and record something that could actually be made into a song at some point, and i may have just done it!

It's the only track on there, download for better quality if you want, its much more punchy.

Just guitar and drums at the moment.

Honest opinions and critique very welcome :)

I like it, it sounds pretty good :) The only thing i'd comment on, is the weird level changes in the guitar when it gets to the tremolo picking- the guitars seem to dive in and out of the mix a bit there. Aside from that, i like the sound, it's not too refined and harsh!

Cheers Oli! :)

Yeah, i noticed that, it could be that compression is required to even it out OR its my shoddy double tracking abilities (first time doing it today, ever)

Or it could be just my whole set up at the moment, heck the guitar is only a 50 pound strat-copy from netto supermarket! into Guitar Rig 3...

my les paul has no pups at the moment :(
