Loving My Tone Tonight!
« on: July 31, 2008, 11:57:02 PM »
Just wanted to make a quick post to say how I was loving my tone tonight!

I was playing my '81 Navigator 335 into the cranked '87 4103 JCM800 through the Teaser Stallion and the DAM Sonic Titan, with the Antelope Morning Dew EQ in the mix too...DAMN!!!!!!!!!

It was like gold was flying out of my guitar, sweet velvety goldenness of wonder.

So happy :P

Congrats!

As you can imagine, we people in this forum are most interested in the type of pickups you use in your 335.

And clips or die!

just the standard PUs. There is no need to change them, they soudn beautiful. Obviously I've had VH2s in a LP and Mothers Milk/Crawler in a strat, but really this guitar is my number one by a country mile.

It sounds perfect.
