currently ive got some beefy slinky 11-15-22p-30-42-54 strings on my guitar tuned to drop C.
could i do drop B with the same strings? will they start to get too slack?
i thought id ask before i try it because im in no hurry for a pointless floyd rose nightmare. :P

I'd use 13's.

+1.
13s for drop B (with drop A bottom string) works out almost identical to a set of 10s in standard tuning, if I remember correctly. A bit of jiggery pokery required, but not too much!
