I dont mind hair bands and 80s rock fashions but these boys from Texas just weren't known for it  in later life

That's back when Pantera was a somewhat decent band. The title is misleading though, he was (un)known as "Diamond Darrel" in those days.

Excellant clip

I wasn't so fond of latter Pantera - liked CFH but the vocals got worse to my (1980s) ears after that

That's what seperates Pantera from the rest! Insane vocals

I don't get how you can go from that to uber metal huge beard beer drinkers. Obviously the 80's style wasn't working out so they changed to uber heavy metal men and that worked.

Loads of bands do this sort of thing; did anyone else laugh really hard when Papa Roach went from angry nu-metallers to whiney emos?
LOVING the Mules!

No - but saw them live and they were really good entertainment (supported Motley Crue)

Pantera just seemed to get heavier as they progressed, CFH has some fairly hair metally screams on it :P

I love dimes riffs from vulgar display of power they just blow my speakers apart in my truck and make my day strumming and drumming on the steering wheel, i love it! Anselmos vocals, I've got used to them and they do fit the mood of the music.

I'm on my 3rd pair in 18 months, good old Maplins eh!

I use an ipod transmitter and tune into 107.7 in London as its the only position I can find without some chav pirate numb nuts uttering shitee in the background.
