Paypal fees etc

Just listing my amps now, I`m gonna put something along the lines of "NOTE: postage is slightly higher to cover paypal fees - if you wish to have lower postage please pay by cheque and I will lower the postage"

How much should I increase postage by to cover the paypal fees of a £475 item?

I can't be bothered to look up the exact percentages, but if you receive £475 the PayPal fees will be just over £15.

Whether or not a buyer will be prepared to pay an extra £15 is another matter...

Paypal must be totally raking it in. They do essentially **** all and levy extortionate charges for the privilege. Sickening :(

I've done that before and didnt get the listing pulled so you should be ok with that.

Well its obvious what the reason is.
£15 PP fee's isn't that bad.
or just do the £3 E cheque option as compulsory, but don't dispatch until it clears

It's a nice double earner for ebay - the fees they charge and they own paypal as well, it has to be the best business idea ever!  :x

ebay put a notice out a long while ago stating that it is not allowed for the seller to levy the paypal fees onto the buyer.

seems ebay can do what they want, ebay has such a massive audience. Nowhere else is worth bothering with and they know it.
