Hi guys!

I'm almost completely sure that I'll get a Miracle Man brigde for my custom guitar project, but since (almost) all of the MM soundclips here on the is hi-gain stuff, i'd like to hear how the pickup sounds when playing detailed, dynamically, on a low gain setting!

So, if anyone could make a clip for me, i would be very happy! :)

Thanks alot,
-Erlend

I can make a low gain clip, but I'm not sure about the 'dynamic' part; the MM compresses very easily, and has less room to go before it crunches the amp, as opposed to a lower output magnet type, like the VHII.

Ditto................it's not really part of it's job description as it's a high gain ceramic powered humucker. If dynamics are crucial you'd be better to look at something less powerful. It's very hard to get a ceramic magnet to behave with subtle dynamics as there's so much power on tap.............great for huge OD tone and singing lead but not so good for subtl and dynamic cleans.
For this type of thing I go for the PAF style humbuckers: The Mule, VHII, Emerald, Riff Raff etc.

A - You hear the 'true' tone of the pickup when applied properly.

B - The Miracle Man was designed for metal.

So what's the conclusion?

BTW, the Mules are killer pups -- ultimate PAF tone, and they're really versatile. I have a set in my axe (the one in my avatar). Real 'workhorse' pickups. 8)
