It started out life as a special.
I had a luthier make a new body from one piece of alder with some tastey black binding. Still has the neck of a special but with some top quality components.

Holy diver bridge pickup
MQ neck pickup
Two pots both wired to volume so you can blend both pickups together in the middle position (and makes a great killswitch in the other positions)
I really like the guitar and asthetically it looks great (well i think so anyway)
Problem is cause its kind of my own creation i dont think i'd get very much for it. (The body and binding alone was nearly £300)
I kind of need the money and have considered (although it would break my heart!) to take the thing a part and sell of the parts seperately - i think i might get more money that way.
Unfortunately since I got my feline slimline les paul - i just dont pick it up anmore.
