I think you'd have to hunt high and low to find anything camper than all the Wham videos.

How did anyone ever think Geo. Michael was straight?

Heh, my brother managed to whitness to Boy George trying to chat up Phil Lynott, it ended up with George flouncing out and telling Jon Moss that he would have to make do with him again.

Aparently Lynott thought it was the funnist thing thing ever.

I'm fairly sure that the campest video of all time, forever, is "I Want to Break Free" by Queen.

Wasn't Jonathan something to do with that?

Yes - I was in the video - was one of the miners - can be seen walking down the steps just to the right of the band as you view it.
They were using a lot imagery from & similar to Fritz Lang's Metropolis film that they did the soundtrack for (well - the remastered version anyway)

The intro was kind of a camp piss take of Coronation Street, and the middle section is an homage to a Nijinsky ballet piece called "The Afternoon of a Faun" which was contoversial in its day (1912). Mercury was a self confessed Ballet nut and a big fan of Vaslav Nijinsky who was considered one of the best ballet dancers ever.

How they decided to cobble all that together into a video is anyone's guess.

Was a great day filming and hanging out and chatting to the band.
Often meeting your heroes can be a letdown - thankfully they were everything you could have hoped for.
