Bulb - New Rough Heavy Song! (x3, s2.0, ceramic warpig)

sup guys
so im back from cali, and just for the sake of catharsis i had to record something.
so i decided to rework and rerecord and add a bunch of parts of a short snippet that was on soundclick.
now its still not entirely complete, and im using my new songs as a testbed for different kinds of mixes for s2.0 (since it sounds so drastically different for better or for worse), so i hope you guys like it and if its not up to par with the other mixes i apologize in advance, but its in the name of experimentation and stuff!

I used my Ibby RGA121 with my treasured C-Pig in the Bridge for the song.

Great track!! Getting a lot of low end thats a bit obfuscating, but it sounds good too (the tone and mix remind me of obzen)

Do you listen to much sikth and meshuggah by any chance ;)

yeah the low end issue is really just this new drum program im working with, the kick is not really what im going for, and in my efforts to make it sound closer to what i want it just muddies up the low end, so apologies!

and i absolutely love both of those bands, definitely big influences (but hopefully no more than that!)

I think the infulence is clear, but its equally clear you've got your own thing going on!

I use DFH sup 2 as well, and prefer it to DFH sup, by a long way. I actually found it much easier to mix with, but then I never really got into a habit or pattern or technique or whatever with Sup1.

That said (and my observation about the lows) I may run my mouth about what I hear, but it doesnt mean I can do better! (Terry Date I aint!). It sounds great.

I like it. Really meaty tone and a hell of a bottom end. Is there anything of this genre with actual singing though? Throaty uuuuuurrrgh stuff does nothing for me.

Closest youre gonna get, badger, is probably Nevermore: Enemies of Reality. Not really that similar, but its in the ballpark

Not really my kind of music but very impressive playing. I must add that I really like the track "All New Materials" - something about it sounds really familiar (not blatant rip off familiar but maybe a flavour of different things  :?)
