Burnt out VW camper AND guitar

Some of you may have read about this in Guitarist:

Nasty - although the guitar will look nicely unique if he manages to restore it.

That's a pretty extreme relicing technique...

... and DON'T get me started about relics...

Think I saw that a bit back, maybe when I was cruising the LP forum.
Early 2000's classic I think.

Very unique look, it could be quite good

I'm pretty sure it is a Classic - the inlays are the same as a Classic I nearly bought a few years  back.
I think I hate being indecisive.

I did a good restoration last year of a LP custom that had been burnt in a house fire and was chucked onto a skip by the firemen after hosing down the house.
It was rather singed , although not anywhere as badly as this one.
We took a lot of care and refretted it and sorted out the elecs- the pickups still worked , but needed wax dipping again, and we replaced all the pots and switch etc as they were smoke damaged.

Played nice - still looked like it had been through the wars though

I'll resist any puns about hot pickups etc.
How gutted would you be?
It would be my worst nightmare if my guitars went up in smoke
