How do I explain to someone how to pay via e-cheque? Costs me £3 yes?

If it's through eBay, I think they just go to pay via PayPal and then choose "other funding options".  But not totally sure, I've been paid by eCheque but never made a payment myself.

I think it costs you £3.50, unless they've changed it in the last few months.  And you'll have to wait a week or so for the payment to clear.

Just get the buyer to click on it when it says how to fund the payment. If it goes wrong, you or they can cancel the payment and try again with no loss

That sounds about right. Remember that a Paypal echeque takes 10 days to clear !
