Ronnie Scotts

Had a fantastic evening out with some work mates at Ronnie Scotts.

GWyneth Herbert was playing (http://www.gwynethherbert.com/), and she was fantastic.  A wonderful mix of jazz and folk, really great and engaging performer.  She had a cellist with her too who was also amazing - a young girl, whos voice reminded me of Billie Holiday (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=80922520) - again, definitely worth checking out if jazz is your thing.

Got chatting to some of the staff, and asked them what it was like when Jeff Beck played there the other month.  One of the guys was telling me that after his set he sat at the back of the room on the tiered seats, two beautiful young women, one on either side of him, with their heads below the table...

A real "Blow By Blow" moment, if you know what I mean...

God, I wish I was a Rock'n'Roll star...

 :D

I've been in there a few times, it's a great place.

Jeff, I'm dreadfully disappointed in you!
