They have been allowed to tour with the Scorpions again - lets hope Michael more than makes up for last years disgraceful showing (Uli Roth will be playing as well)

i'll definately go to a show this time, i want to see uli.

i notice the MSG/Sky of Avalon/Scorpion's shows are mostly just in the UK... Do you think this is a pay back to English fans after the previous disasterous tour?

I do hope so - the MSG band lineup is good - please let Michael be on form and focussed
Looking forward to that one

He doesn't seem to be playing lead as much as he used to a few years ago - I can't find a clip of him doing any lead work...  :( And he used to play this battered white strat and make it do things like SRV did, and his gigs made me feel like Rory Gallagher's used to...

Anyway seeing as this is a "guitar clips thread", I shall restrict myself to just these two - the first one shows what a monster he is on the guitar as well as his voice (for which he seems to get the most plaudits nowadays). The second one shows what his full band is like, but not a solo in sight

National, Tele, Strat, a Hammond, and a bloke that can sing like the Wolf - what more can you want?

Ian Siegal - Mary Don't You Weep
Ian Siegal - Falling On Down Again

If you like the blues, and he ever plays near you, go and see him... (beware tho - if your missus likes "sleazy", she will be staring at him all night like the wimin in the second clip!)

Glen Hughes singed way better than Coverdale... Should be a cr@p to have a bass player singing better than you when you're the lead singer

I thought that lineup with both Coverdale and Hughes on vocals was awesome - shame it didn't last longer.
