My first attempt - Emeralds
« on: September 08, 2008, 01:20:10 PM »
At recording with garage band.

Guitar is my Epiphone Custom Shop SG (like angus young)
Pickups are Covered Lt. Emeralds calibrated set
Into Randall 150 G3 head
Out of Randall 212 cab

Recorded with Equation audio RP21 headphones (no microphone at this time)
Into my girlfriends Macbook

I did this quickly. It certanly isnt a finished piece. just a quick demo to show the emeralds i guess.

I played the drums in (badly) using the GB Rock kit

Any comments appreciated  :)

Edit: Clean a the beggining was on both pickups
Rhythm on bridge lead on neck.

Is the guitar in tune? There is something that brake the harmony and I can't decide what is (just awake a few minutes)
But the rhythm guitar looks very cool!

its bad intonation. i havent set it up properly since i restrung it with a heavier gauge, but i've been waiting to get a new nut so that i can get file the slots perfect because the but on there at the minute is a bit screwed up.

i litterally put this together in like 30 mins though. once i get the guitar setup and my recording gear i'll record again on cubase. i dont like garage band!
