MiracleMan neck solo
« on: September 13, 2008, 10:27:46 PM »
I have the MM calibrated set. This is the neck version doing the solo, which, if I remember right has the Alnico V magnet?
It's a short piece, and the audio is a bit out-of-sync, but those interested should be able to clearly hear the MM neck at work doing that solo-higain-stuff...
Couldn't upload the video to here, cause the server let me waits for an eternity and then cuts me off, so here's another link: http://ztevie.com/ztevie_main.wmv

$%&#ing Hails My Friend
is it possible for you to record a clip for me, the same clip, but with just the distortion and SLIGHTLY , really just a little bit of delay ONly?!
i really want to geta bare knuckle pup for the neck of my fender
and im really in doubt of which pickup to get
i liekd your clip a lot, your miracle man CAN SING very well, but i would liek to hear it WITHOUT the effects, caus i think part of the easyness of singing is from the EFFECTS. delay and reverb

I'll see what I can do, I work night this week, so I may not have time or strength to play any guitar this week...
I won't do the same clip, it was kind of improvised, so I don't want to go back learn it again, but I guess it's ok if I just record some solo-wanking without BT?

******* hails WFD!
here is a short clip. I just took away the effects on that same patch, and played something completely random... Not excactly the greatest riff in the history of mankind...
Anyway hope it's good enough for you to hear some characteristics this pup have?

Thanks!
But I listened to my clip for WFD again now, and OUCH! I don't hit the sweet spot on those bends, haha! OK, I blame it on the fact I've been working 3 night shift...  :(

Thanks!
But the clip for WFD was almost a candidate for Youtube, in the worst guitarplaying ever category...

its not at all that bad man :) and in fact its quite a useful clip to judge the tone characteristics

Grazias senor!

I thought if I find time to upload a few more thought out examples without bass and drums.
I can provide bridge and neck version of MiracleMan, aswell as both of them splitted....
Was thinking of Higain-rhytm, Higain-solo, Crunch and Clean... all with examples from both buckers normal and splitted.. Should be easy to compare? Well, we'll see....
