Pink Floyd keyboardist and singer Rick Wright died. He was 65.

An understated legend. His ability to play for the song / band and not get wound up in an ego was an oft overlooked quality. End of an era - and very sad.
R.I.P Rick.

Very sad news indeed.
I know a guy who knows David Gilmour pretty well. I mentioned this news to him today, and he said Rick had been ill for some time but they'd decided to keep it quiet, reasonably enough.
