The cab has V30s. It was really interesting to have three cabs all with the same speakers, and to hear such different tones. Martin's pretty much nailed the sounds in his description - the FL is punchy and brash, the RL is deeper and more open sounding.

That's a massive complement mate - thank you, sincerely. Having this gear has stopped me from getting slack as well - it's not exactly a setup that covers mistakes.
I've been playing 7 and a half years, I think.

Nolly, how are you powering your Decimator ProRackG?

Quite an annoying predicament, at the moment I'm using the euro plug mine came with, with a cr@ppy converter from Maplins. I happen to know that the Rocktron Hush uses an identical supply though, and may well try to track down a UK one of those to use.

Chris: Shame we didn't realise at the time. Pete and I hung around for a while after as we were supposed to be meeting up with Doug for a drink, we could easily have got up to some hijinx.

Haha, not to worry... By that time of night 'hijinx' are usually the last thing on my mind! I didn't have my B2 with me either so a valid comparison couldn't have been done either! (fwiw you'd win on the body, but the neck on mine could possibly force a rematch!!)

I really should find out where Doug's workshop is, I hear its just down the road from me, according to a guitar teacher I used to have who bought one from him (the tele with the scalloped neck on the gallery of the site). I've seen Doug several times in a Cafe in Muswell Hill that I go to quite alot.

Would be cool to pop down and check it out.

Then he was right - I live right by new southgate, and my mum lives smack-bang in it, infact... My mum shares a postcode with Blackmachine - She's more metal than one might think!
