Another Pig 90 clip
« on: September 17, 2008, 07:02:35 PM »
Posted this a while ago but the tone was pretty thin in comparison to what I'm getting now with my Presonus interface - sounds so much middier and thicker than plugging the 57 straight into the soundcard :D

Pig 90 bridge in an all mahogany LP straight into a GH50L then into G12H speakers. Track needs vocals (and a proper bass guitar) I think as its not quite so interesting without them.

The style is too punky for my taste, but I liked the tone. Made me want to hear something Zakk Wylde-y with the Pig-90. It's not a request though, if you don't feel like it, you don't have to. :D

Well I did post this clip before with worse tone so it might be that, otherwise I dont know what it reminds me of. Most rock songs are ripoffs of one another anyway so its all good :P

ilyti I may record some Miracle Man tomorrow or Saturday for you if I get a chance, not sure how good it'll turn out though as I'm not amazing at that sort of chugging metal.

That sounded really BIG  8)

I like the low end punch of these Pig 90's, very 'spanking' and 'digging'. The MQ set is definately more vintage sounding compared to these, less into the metal/hardrock direction, but more into the blues/rock territory.

I had to laugh at 1:56 - 2:22, just so nice!
