Well after a couple of months of waiting, i finnally have my new strat pickgaurd loaded full of BKP WIN!!! I installed it today and set my July 2007 Highway 1 Strat and set it wp wilt 10s instead of the 9s that it came with from stock and have been on it since.
It now has theese on it:
Miracle Man (Bridge)
Irish Tour (Middle)
Slow Hand (Neck)
Alto of thanks go to Billy at GuitarGuitar here in Glasgow for trying what i wanted and never worked out. But alas, i have a standard HSS layout with standard controls as well. Coil Tapped hum as well.
Im debating wether i should get a Eclipse II VW and rip out the EMGs and put a Alnico Warpig and a Miracle Man neck in it or a Miracle Man set in it.
But i need a amp and i think that is the priority at the moment, and the strat will be going out with me one day ASAP into town for a day of amy testing, with a couple of my pedals as well so i can get a real example of what they are really like.
One thing im gonna say about the MM is it dosnt have the precise EQing needs of the Painkiller, but it sounds smoother and more defined, more for Rythm, there the painkiller is more for Leads/Harmony. But im glad that my MM and PK sound the dogs bollocks, and am really glad that i finally have what i need and would ever want in my ESP LTD EC-1000 and Strat. My Schecter Tempest is just for teh fun now, and thats got a new pickup (Non BKP Sadly) going into it with a new control/custom wiring layout as well, when i have some time to put it in.
