Like you I drop in and out of his music, haven't got the new one yet but I probably will.
To me Scarcrow and the much more rock and RAW 'Whenever we wanted' are the high points.

whenever We wanted is a classic and of course scarecrow...got to agree....have a few early ones, human wheels and mr happy go lucky as well...but yeah produces great albums then gets a little .....flouncy *L*

It was a decent album.. couldn't really get into though. Did you get the one with the DVD Audio disc? It comes with a blurb about this "CODE" thing, a way of mastering something so it has more dynamic range than a normal recording. It was one of the clearest, most subtle, beautiful recordings I've heard.. I just wish the tunes were more interesting.
