edit: took out the image tags because these pictures are huuuuge

To make a long story short, I've had about 20 different guitars in the last year and a half. The only one I've owned that entire time was a flat black Jackson SLSMG I bought as a complete impulse buy - I already had a decent Jackson, and went into a guitar shop to buy some strings. The guys there know me and asked "so what'll it be today?" I replied "Just some strings man, unless you have a totally sick Jackson here for some reason." He walked over to the wall and pulled down this beauty (except it was brand new back then)...

...so I spent approximately $980 more than I first intended and left with this new Jackson in hand. What followed was a massive buying spree of a lot of really unexceptional (in my opinion) guitars.. a Music Man Petrucci 7 string, ESP Custom Shop SRC-7, a couple S7320s, a 2077XL, a Charvel custom, one of the Charvel USAs... and this flat black SLS was the only guitar that I kept the whole time.
So ultimately, I decided it was the perfect guitar for me. It sounded especially good in low tunings, with its Seymour Duncan Blackouts (was an EMG 81/85 set stock and even then it ruled) but it is inconvenient switching from drop B to Eb standard all the time, so I decided to buy another one.
This thing showed up today.

Mahogany neck through mahogany body, ebony board, 12-16" compound radius, massive frets, shark eye inlays, and slim slim slim tapered body. The white one is slightly slimmer than the black one, and it is much lighter.. I would estimate its weight as no more than 6 pounds. It has Seymour Duncan 59s bridge and neck. Very cool pickups, I love the sound, but they don't have quite enough bite for me. If this was a "niche player" in my guitar family, they'd do, but as it stands, it needs to be a little more ballsy.
This might help :D A leftover from my Charvel custom shop.

Not entirely sure if that is exactly what I want though - might go for something different for this one.

Ahh I do love those SLSMG's. Really regret selling mine now. :(   I got it for £490 with a hard-shell Jackson case, locking sperzels, locking bridge, and ground nut and pro set-up. Whhhhy did I sell it!!!?

EDIT: LOVE that white finish with the cream binding. Very nice.

The black and White Jacksons are not pointy enough for me.  I have to say though.  Those cammo Nailbombs are gonna look fvcking ace in that white Jackson, which almost makes me want to change my mind about it entirely (but not quite).  However, i am just drooling over that Ibanez 7! :o
BKPz: Nailbomb+VHII, more to come...
