Chris Cornell would be bloody great.  Of course he'd fall out with them pretty damn quickly, but that's OK, I don't want this reunion to drag on forever and turn into a "self-tribute" act.

I was thinking Cornell too.

if only cornell was half of what he was... cornell + timberland = PDT_032

and the things he seems to get involved in now... where has his integrity gone??

I'm probably the only person who didn't already know this but...

On BBC Breakfast this morning, Neil McCormick from the Daily Telegraph said he believes the "new singer" is Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge.

I'm not the biggest fan of Alter Bridge or his previous band The Mayfield Four, but he has an amazing voice.  Could be great... but they still shouldn't call it Led Zeppelin.

I do like Alter Bridge, and agree that Myles Kennedy has a good voice, but can't imagine how it would work with Led Zep. Would be interesting though!

Kennedy has an awesome voice - saw Alter Bridge live 2 years ago in a tiny room at Cardiff student union, and the whole thing blew me away. I'm not sure I'd like to see him singing with Zep though - I don't think he should risk putting a successful, dynamic band like Alter Bridge on hold to front a half-baked, cash-cow reunion tour.

I'm gonna get my ass kicked for this, I can just feel it...
