I think you'd get on best with a VT30, then.
It does higher gain pretty well. It just doesnt have the chunk and thickness that the cube does on its highest gain modes.

I've just read up on the AD30VT on HC Reviews and alot of people are complaining of poor reliability issues with the amp, which I hope is a few minor incidents and not something that happens often.
Gain wise, JCM800 is about as high as I go, so i don't really need the Rectifier mode on the Cube amps for example. Would the Vox do this ok in your opinion?
1 issue I have is that I've tried both the Cube amps mentioned, so I'd have no qualms ordering 1 off the net to save £50, but nowhere around here sells the Vox, so it's be a blind purchase if I did go for that 1. That.s why I'm trying to be sure I get the right 1 for me :)
