How easy is it to add a effects loop to a master vol amp.....in simple terms do you add a tap on the wire going to master volume, 2 switched jacks one from the pre and the other the return to the power.(so if no jacks in signal not interupted)
I know slightly more to this I.E. some kind of way to adjust level...but is this the theory

you could do it that way, it's the most simple way. however, you could also have a unity gain stage driving the 'send' and a gainstage after the 'return' jack to boost the signal up to counter any losses.

I was with upto the point when you said "you could do it that way" have to look the other bits up
