I usually do bike rides for charity - its easier on the knees at my age :) Well done though Phil - how long were you training?
A little under 3 months - could have done with a bit more really, but I'm going to keep it up and maybe have another go next year.
Funnily enough, I've had no trouble with my knees, although I'm plagued with shin splints and my lower back is a bit dodgy - they're manageable though, haven't got any
worse after the first few weeks.
