Mules -- Excellent

Finally got round to putting the Mules in my Les Paul and they sound really great, very warm and relaxed sounding almost smooth.
 very pleased with them.

Love my Mules and have been for about 3 years now :o Seems ages when you write it down, doesnt seem like that long ago I was bothering tim with emails about what to get :lol:

Mules just keep on surprising you as well - they've always sounded great with my Marshall, but I've been noodling with an Epi Valve Junior that I'm modding and the clean tone out of the Mules is just gorgeous, been playing jazz progressions and blues all day. 

One of the best things about the Mules is the bery definate variation in tone between the bridge/middle/neck selections - some PAF sets I've used didn't really have much to offer in the middle position, whereas the Mules are almost single-coil'ish in the middle position, quite funky with that hollowness to the note.

Does anyone have any idea on how an A4 Mule bridge and an A4 Stormy Monday would go?  I have a MQ in the neck at the moment but want to make the guitar twin humbucking (I have other uses for the MQ).  As I play clean/mild OD blues rather than distorted stuff I was thinking the SM in the neck with the Mule would give me a great combo - or should I just go for a neck Mule?
