Sore Losers
« on: October 14, 2008, 08:36:58 PM »
Following on from Fernandos F1 topic I was reading an article on Guardian.co.uk about sore losers. Link is attached - number 8 is quite possibly an agressive individual, particularly when losing:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2008/sep/28/the10.losers

The way he was identified made me laugh

Apprehended by police after a short chase, Jackson was identified thanks to the life-size portrait of himself on the side of his vehicle, emblazoned next to the word 'Rampage'
I think I hate being indecisive.

My Father's favourite line:
"I would rather be a bad winner than a good loser"
And he bloody well is, IF he wins, he rubs it in, with many lines. "that was clinical" "Very precise, you couldn't do anything" etc
If I win, he won't play again for 4 months - generally domino's or cards

When were younger, we used to play a lot of Scrabble. After we left home, Mum and Dad carried on playing.

Then one day, Mum finally beat him (about ten years ago) he has refused to play ever since because "it's just a game of chance..." (this coming from the man who plays poker and bets on the horses...)

But we love him, and their 50th Anniverary is coming up this christmas :D
