KsE - My Last Serenade with a BKP Nailbomb
« on: October 24, 2008, 02:35:22 PM »
So what do you think? It's a bit sloppy etc. and I didn't play it 100% as on the album but I think it's OK for a quickie recording

I recorded this with my Edwards LPC (BKP Nailbomb) through the X3Live.
I made some minor adjustments to my old patch which is basically 5150/Diezel Herbert through a celestion T75s cab model. Both amp models have parametric EQ and a tad compression. I've boosted the 5150 with the Screamer model as well.
And for the record, the original is in drop C, I recorded in Drop B

Not bad! Sounds a little meatier than most NB clips I've heard. How strong do you find the mids and lows to be on the NB?

Thanks man! :)
Huge but defined lows and very tasty lower mids as well, ESPECIALLY with the LPC. I have a Nailbomb on my Caparison Horus as well but it doesn't sound as big on the lows. The NB sounds definetly better on the Edwards LPC IMO.

Sounds bloody good! Great playing, not at all sloppy. That Nailbomb sounds amazing mate!

Not my style in the slightest but it certainly aint sloppy mate.  I doubt the speakers on my laptop do the bottom justice though which i guess is vital for this type of music.

I'll get lynched for this but It would be nice to hear it through a tele through a clean Deluxe reverb, just for a laugh :D
