Impulse NGD (Now with pictures)
« on: October 26, 2008, 02:24:00 PM »
So I walked into guitar guitar in Glasgow, not intending to buy anything.

And walked out with a lovely squier vintage vibe telecaster (sorry roo!).

It is a very nice guitar, and amazing for the money. It's also my first ever telecaster, and the only one I've ever tried.

Now with pictures. Also thought i'd use this oppurtunity to show off the blackstar pedal i got last weekend.

Once again, i apologise for my photography skills (or lack of).

Nice one :D

I think Roo ought to be getting some royalties from Fender soon - anyone else noticed he seems to have single-handedly inspired an attack of tele buying recently on this forum

Yeah I am pretty disappointed. The only way things could get worse here is if everyone starts saying that they like the Beatles.

Well, I saw her yesterdayiyay
It's you she's thinking of
And she told me what to sayiyay
She said she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
She loves you
And you know you should be glad

OoooOOooo!!

- I love that "OoooOOooo", still sends shivers down my spine, sigh...

Ooo - have they started doing new colours gwem?

Hang on, no, I don't like the necks anyway - well, I like them, very classy, but they're too thin for me.

with the duo sonic i of course meant the squier classic vibe...

with the strat i meant an original one ;) i don't think they do a classic vibe strat desert sand. if they did - i think i'd have to score one.

I'm finding the lead parts to things like "Day Tripper" or "I Feel Fine" just sound so good on a tele. :D

Even better on a Danelectro, but that's another story.

I was watching clips from "Let It Be" on You Tube the other night. It is great when George grooves away on his Rosewood Tele.
