Mothers Milk clip
« on: October 26, 2008, 10:06:21 PM »
First clip with my new Mothers Milk.  There's not masses of lead guitar but stick with it and there is a solo at some point....other than that the only electric is a strat with the MM in.  It was recorded on a Laney VC30 about to explode.  Not that it was loud, it was on the clean channel on about 3.  But it died shortly after none-the-less...

Hey Tom - I really liked that. Not the sort of style usually heard on here, it was a nice surprise. Is that some sort of cello synth you have in the background?

Also, really liked the solo - very tasteful.
I think I hate being indecisive.

I'll get back on this-my PC doesn't want to down load. I shall have to fix  it when I get a moment.

That was interesting-very subtle. I would like to hear more of the Strat but what there was very nice indeed.

Thanks guys, glad you liked it.  I've plenty more where that come from, most with a lot more electric guitar.  I'm just finishing a 10 track album of instrumental tracks with my mate, the only electric guitars being a strat with Mothers Milk and a Gordon Smith with Stormy Mondays.  There's plenty of other instruments though, we were keen to  create atmosphere without it turning into a guitar fest, although of course some bits do.  I shall post a few more  electric guitar based clips later in the week.

And yes Ian, there's a Cello sample in the background, played in via keyboard from an Akai S2000 Sampler.
