Pups of a B.C. Rich
« on: November 02, 2008, 03:59:19 PM »
I was wondering alot about which pup to get in the bridge of my B.C. Rich Gunslinger, it has two stock single coils (neck and middle) and a stock humbucker (bridge), it also has a mahogany body, a rosewood fretboard, and a floyd rose Original tremolo bridge, i play with 0.10 - 0.46 ernie ball strings.

I play alot of different things, so i'm gonna be using this pup for heavy metal (Manowar, hammerfall), death metal (dark tranquility, inflames, noumena) and a little satriani style.

i play lead and a little rythme, and i was thinking either NailBombs or Warpigs( both ceramic), but almost any suggestion is accepted ( no active pups).

i like to make alot of harmonics and Pinch harmonics, but i also want that deep growl (like in laid to rest by Blackout (http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?topic=1741&highlight=warpig) copy past for sound file)

please help me, and thanks i advance. :D:guitar4:

Alnico (Aluminium-Nickel-Cobalt (and the rest is iron)) magnets, grade 5.

Stock NB magnets. You can get a ceramic if you order it ceramic, but if you dont specify otherwise, thats what you get.

I would go with Nailbomb/Trilogy/Triology, personally.
