Real tree, although after moving into the house 5 years ago they have been getting smaller in size every year.  The first one we bought was way too big.

Besides, the cat loves a real tree, it can't climb fake ones very easy.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Fake... The real ones are always HEAVY... well when I was a kid my mom always bought the real 8' tall ones as well as big luggages, so I hate carry those heavy things but it made me strong :lol:

But to answer the other meaning of this thread - fake all the way for me. No needles all over the carpet, no damaged guitar fingers collecting it, no creepy-crawleys, the thing looks the same shape every year, etc, etc...

OK, it don't smell like a fir tree, but so what? :D

Ahh don't under-estimate the heavenly aroma of a real one!

we dont usually bother either, and i refuse to send xmas cards, or any other type of card for that matter... i have better things to spend my money on!

It's an absolute monstrous waste of paper too!  Thank you card's as well!  Whatever happened to some kind words and a thank you, we now need pieces of paper to express our feelings?  Pathetic.
