I'm getting these covers : http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1574.0 !! I think they'll look just great in my black Les Paul !!!  :D I'll post pictures and record samples as soon as i get them !!!!!!!!  :D  :D :D :D (you can tell how excited i am,can't you ? :P)

P.s.Infliktor i think gold covers with an inscription would look really nice on your guitar ! ;)
P.s.2.I just placed my order and hope everything turns out well !!!!! :) Can you guys give me a rough estimate of how many days you think it will take for the pups to arrive home ? I live in Greece so i guess the same shipping policies as in the rest of EU apply...(and now i'm sure you can tell i'm excited AND impatient ! :))

I wrote Tim and he replied that I should go with Painkillers.  Can anyone explain the difference between the Nailbombs and Painkillers?

I almost ordered the Nailbombs 2 days ago LOL

They are fairly similarly EQ'd, but the PKs are a lot tighter and more articulate. With the NBs think fat, grinding crunch, with the PKs think big open un-compressed crunch and scary amounts of definition under high gain.

I only ever tried NB's in my Explorer, but they had plenty of grunt and clarity in the low end with lots of distortion.

I had Warpigs in my Les Paul though and they were THICK and PHAT, great for doom/sludge stuff, but not fast/articulate enough for faster metal styles.

I'd probably go with ceramic WP's in my Les Paul if I wanted another br00tal pickup again.

Bear in mind mate that the powerball is tight as a gnats chuff, and this stuff isnt all that br00tal. I think a an A5 pig or NB through the PB would be tight enough, and that a pig would be overkill.

You know what sort of stuff I do, and I never have the gain on my PB over 4!

No! 4! And 'not above', too: Its currently actually on 3. I'm sure if I played one of my guitars, the weakest bridge pickup in any of them being a painkiller, through channel 4 with the gain on 10, The Legions of Hell would rise up with Satan himself in the first wave and slaughter us all. It has a SILLY amount of gain. No one, not even me, needs the amount of gain a powerball can deliver. Ever. Under any circumstances.

i think just the regular Bareknuckle Pickups engraving would look good with the gold covers and that guitar. gives it a nice classy look.
