Krank Rev vs. Rivera KR-100

Hello there!
I'm a new BKP tone soldier. :P
Just loaded my 1978'SG with WARPIG and now waitin' for my PIG-90 to complete the  piggy gibbo)
For a few times I wanted to start a topic about pickups but...whatever..so now is the time.
I'm looking to get a new amp for my rehersal room and i'm in the sad blace between the Rivera KR-100 and Krank Rev.
So I wonder what you guys have to say about this.

P.S.Amp Is for:1) Sabbath\Crowbar\Down oriented stuff 2)some bluesy stuff too

Great minds and all that!

Johnny, I only suggested the Uber because its got an ultra-heavy-marshall vibe thats perfect for those bands. I'm sure, as always, that you Koch is wonderfull, and if you say it can deliver the goods, I believe you, but I'm afraid I've had no experience of your Koch, so I couldnt possibly comment!

You've got it all wrong.  The Koch is a very flexible unit that can go anywhere but unfortunately has too much headroom for the bedroom(isn't that a Jason Becker song?:P).

However:

"Concerns
Right side of rear panel is only secured to the chassis with double-stick adhesive, and is vulnerable to separation when the chassis is out of the cabinet."

I too would be concerned if the rear panel of my Koch was only secured with adhesive!  Johnny is this a problem for you or do you just never take the chassis out of the cabinet?

I've never had to dismantle my Koch's chassis from its cabinet. Dissected I must say from photographs, it does look mighty impressive. It can also be modified to take 6L6 valves or others and is a breeze to bias from a DIY point of view, so I understand it. Yes my Koch's flexibility is incredible going from very soft clean & pleasant  to rock hard and tight as f*ck gaining aggression as I turn my Koch's knob. For the harder Marshall sounds my Koch can achieve these by simply using a Marshall Cabinet if the Koch's cabinet  of these requirements are not to your liking. Koch's speakers are made by Jensen with input by Koch. My amps headroom is massive for my bedroom running 120w rms into a 4 x12 cab at 4ohms is something to behold. Such is the power of my koch I can feel it plummeling my liver. So an attenuator is in order. Trust me you will love it.
It also does the bluesy stuff real nice. Two different gain channels you see. With lower output pickups the differences are stark but units like war pigs and miracle mans they drive them into huge amounts of gain, the normal gain channel which is more like a marshall has a massive low end kick to it.
