Cliff from Fractal Audio has posted another firmware update, including the CA3+ Preamp (Rhythm and Lead Channel).
Really like both Channels a lot. Others mentioned they didn't like the lead channel, but I do, especially on lower gain levels, it's so dynamic, really fat, yet crunchy - almost reminds me of my Bogner Shiva head, but it's got a more elastic feel which I dig.
Here is a clip with the Edwards Les Paul w/ calibrated VHII set - all dynamics etc done with the volume pot and pickup switch (apart from some wah later in the clip):
