So I have a little bit extra cash, and want to pimp out my 70s mustang copy. Its a 24 inch scale neck rosewood fingerboard and maple neck, and made of mahogany. The current pickups sound alright, but the bridge is very weak and has to be ramped right close to the strings. Acoustically it's pretty warm, thanks to the scale and the mahogany
Looking for something that truely rocks in the bridge, with a balanced tone and not too treble-y and still having a good clean sound. For the neck i like warm tones, will be used exclusively for clean chord work and distorted lead lines.
Tried Mother's milks in the past, not for me i don't think.
