I believe that US masters are who made the USA Deans until about a year ago.

I was bidding on one  on the bay last night but someone wanted it more than me :(.  Cant help thinking i should have bidded a little bit higher.

That's certainly purty, but I believe the ones with that headstock logo are made in the far east and would have been sub $700 new.

My mate's band's guitarist has one of those very SGs. I've only had like ten minutes on it but it outplays many other SGs, including some gibbos twice the price. Very very recommended.

do you have to wear a green jacket while playing them? can you only play them by invitation?

sorry.

those look nice... never tried them, though. the prices sound good, i'd expect no dealers over here, though. :(

EDIT: ooh, i know those guys now. One of the regulars on another forum has one of their amps, i think. I think she likes it, a lot. :) as i said, though, never tried them.

That's a bad sign imo.

A custom shop USA Dean was one of the worst guitars I've ever played in my life (regardless of price range!!!).

Definitely nowhere near as good as a Caparison! (Noticed MDV was posting in this :P)

It's shape is very similar to a Guild S100, one of the best guitars I've played.

You may have played a bad one. However, I have owned four USA Deans two made by US Masters. They are all very well made guitars. If it has the V neck it is very nice indeed.
